I feel like I should also put my thoughts on everything that has been happening with Doe Deere and Lime Crime. If you don't know what's been going on, you can read about it here.

I've known about what Doe Deere has been doing and I do not support her or Lime Crime anymore. Yes, I do know that I used a Lime Crime product in this video. Will I continue to purchase from her or Lime Crime? No, definitely not. I will continue to use the products that I do have from Lime Crime until I purchase a different kind of liquid to matte lipstick but since I don't really wear lipstick in my every day life, I haven't found a need to purchase any that quick. I'm very disappointed in Lime Crime and I used to be a huge fan of theirs but not any longer.

Recipe: Shepherd's Pie with Ground Beef

I've never had Shepherd's Pie before but for some reason I was craving it after watching hours and hours of Kitchen Nightmares and seeing all of this great looking food. I found this recipe online and of course I needed to give it a try right away as I was overly excited to make something new. It turned out to be absolutely delicious and I kept going back for seconds... and thirds... I will definitely be making this recipe again and probably way too much.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! You can find the recipe below.

1 pound ground beef
1/3 cup ketchup
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup of mixed frozen vegetables (I used carrots, corn and peas)
1/4 cup shredded Cheddar (optional)
2 cups mashed potatoes

Preheat your oven to 400° F. Instead of buying a packet of mashed potatoes, I decided to make my own. So the first thing I did was  skin and cut up about 3 or 4 Russet potatoes and add them to boiling water. When the potatoes were starting to get tender, I started to brown up the ground beef. When the potatoes were done, I went ahead and mashed them all up, added some butter, salt and pepper and because I'm obsessed with ranch mashed potatoes, I added some Ranch dressing to taste and I set the mashed potatoes aside until the ground beef was browned. If there's any fat from the ground beef after it's all browned, go ahead and dispose of that and then add in the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and your frozen vegetables. Your vegetables should be thawed out at this point. Cook all of that together for about a minute until the vegetables are all nice and warmed. Add the meat mixture to a cooking pan and if desired, add the cheddar cheese to the mashed potatoes and evenly spread the mashed potatoes onto the ground beef mixture. Bake for about 10 minutes until everything is heated through and then enjoy!

What I Learned From Drinking More Water

Growing up, I didn't really drink much water. Even during sports, I would drink Gatorade instead. Even in my adulthood I didn't drink much water, until recently.

I used to drink at least 2-3 cans of soda every day. In the middle of the night when I got thirsty I would reach for a Mountain Dew instead of getting a glass of water. I guess I didn't really like the taste of plain water.

A couple of months ago, I decided that I wanted to change myself for the better. I wanted to eat healthier, exercise more and try to drink more water. Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I've been doing really good at drinking more water. I try to drink at least 40 oz. (5 cups) of water per day, if not more and I noticed a great difference in myself.

My skin is so much clearer. I've finally gotten to the point where I don't have to wear as much foundation to cover up my acne anymore and it's mostly because I don't get as much acne anymore. I feel so much more confident because of it. I can finally just get up and head to wherever that I need to go.

I just feel so much better. I'm not as tired and when I get off work, I'm excited and ready to do the workout of that day. I no longer feel so dehydrated. I feel less like crap and more like I can conquer the world.

I'm not as hungry. I was constantly snacking and filling my body with soda and now I take a couple sips of water and I feel lighter and a little less hungry. I don't feel the need to snack as much.

It's amazing how much of a difference that I feel and see in myself from just switching my soda intake with water. Now, I'm not saying that I don't drink soda anymore because I still do. But instead of 2 or 3 cans, it's MAYBE 1. It's a nice little treat for the end of the day.

I will definitely keep drinking more and more water and eventually maybe cut out soda completely. I encourage all of you to enjoy ice cold water more often instead of drinking soda or sugary juices. You'll be amazed with how much better you feel.
