How To Get Over A Breakup

Breakups are hard, we all know that. Probably the hardest part is getting over that person and knowing that you won't have them anymore. Here are some tips that I have come up with that might help you get over this person.

Delete their number. There's no need to send those "I miss you" texts. You broke up for a reason and you don't want to go back to something that obviously wasn't meant to be. If you're too tempted to text this person, block their number and all of their social media.

Don't think you can be friends with this person right away. You're probably feeling heartbroken and if you try to be friends, you might think that there might be a chance of getting back together with them. Give it some time. Maybe months, or maybe even a year, down the line you might be able to be friends, but don't rush anything.

Spend time with people that make you happy. They're the ones that you'll want to be with after this breakup and they should try to make you feel as good as possible. But remember that you still need to take some time for yourself.

Don't drink alone! For obvious reasons. Whoever you're drinking with will make sure that you don't send any drunk texts to your ex. Listen to your favorite songs, watch some good movies and just try to forget about your ex as much as you can.

Just do something! Find a new hobby, learn something new. Just do anything that will keep you occupied and your mind off your ex.

Remember that it is ok to cry. You lost someone that meant a lot to you but it does get better. Don't think about it too much.

Don't rebound too quickly! Wait awhile until you want to get into another relationship. Take your time!

I'm hoping that these tips will help someone out that is going through a breakup. It does get better and it will get better!

Doctor Sleep Book Review

I want to start doing book reviews again because I love to read and I want to encourage you all to read, too. If you want to see me review a book, or if you have a book that you think that I would enjoy, please feel free to let me know any time and I will definitely pick that book up.

Today's book that I'm reviewing is Stephen King's Doctor Sleep.

I have heard a lot of good things about this book and I know that this is one of Stephen King's more creepy books, so I was even more excited to read it.

I should've read more up on this book because I didn't realize that this was the sequel to The Shining, but from the knowledge that I do know about The Shining, I felt like it was pretty easy to keep up with this book.

I felt like this book was a little too long and it could have easily been cut down, but overall, I really did enjoy this book a lot and I couldn't put it down. Towards the middle, it started to get so intense that I didn't even want to put it down if I had to because I needed to know what was going to happen next.

It's such a thrill ride and the end made me happy even though I was sad that it was over.

If you enjoy the creepier books of Stephen King and you have read The Shining, I suggest you read this book. It's very interesting and I enjoyed it so much.

Things To Do When You're Having A Bad Day

So you're having a bad day? That doesn't mean that you should just give up. There are plenty of things to do when you're having an off day and you want to pick yourself back up.

1. Disconnect. Turn your phone off and stay off of your social media.

2. Turn on your favorite music or watch your favorite movie.

3. Make your favorite foods.

4. Take a bubble bath.

5. Take some deep breaths. Close your eyes, breathe in and count to 10 and breathe out.

6. Take a nap.

7. Clean. Sometimes if you put your negative energy towards something else, like cleaning, you can get a lot done and you'll feel a lot better when your house is clean.

Also, remember that if you're having a bad day, don't take it out on someone else. Just because you're angry, doesn't mean you should put a damper on your other relationships.

What are some things you do when you're having a bad day?

How I Clean False Eyelashes

Hi everyone!
Today I'm going to show you how I clean my false eyelashes. I tried to take pictures but that didn't really work out so I'm going to just describe to you what I do!

You'll need:
A Bowl of Warm Water
Eye Makeup Remover
Clean Spoolies
Dry Paper Towel

First, if you haven't already, gently peel the dried glue off of your eyelash band. Then, put your false eyelashes in the bowl of warm water. This will help break down the left over mascara that you may have on the false eyelashes. I like to leave them in the water for a couple of minutes and while they're in there, every now and then I like to move them around in the water to speed it up a little bit.

After a minute or two, I take the eyelashes out and place them on a dry paper towel. Taking a clean spoolie, I gently brush out the eyelashes to dry them out a bit and to separate the lashes. Then, I'll take another clean spoolie and dip it into some eye makeup remover and gently brush out the eyelashes again. And when I say gently, I mean very gently! You don't want to pull out any hairs.

As you can see, it takes off a lot of the old mascara.

Then after they have dried for a couple of minutes, I place them back into their box and they are ready for a few more uses!

Chicken Salad Pita Pocket Recipe

This is probably the easiest recipe I'll ever post so here you go!

You'll need:
Pita pockets
Cooked chicken
Salt and pepper
Garlic powder

First, you'll need to take chicken and shred it. Then, add just enough mayo to cover the chicken. After that, add a little bit of salt and pepper, garlic powder and paprika. Then add in your celery and mix it all together. Then, open up your pita pocket and fill it. That's it! Really simple and delicious. Perfect for lunch.
