Cruelty Free Brands

Hello everyone!

As some of you may know, I use mostly cruelty-free brands and I've been doing a lot of research to find more and more brands. So, I wanted to share some brands that I've recently found out about.

For even more cruelty-free products, I found this blog. So check it out!

And here's a long, full list of cruelty-free nail polish brands!

If you ever question if a brand is cruelty-free or not, there's usually a FAQ on their website or you can always send them an e-mail. When I sent my e-mails to the brands that I did, I usually got a fast reply within a couple of days (or even hours!)

Teenage!

Hello again everybody!

I just wanted to quick talk about my favorite men's clothing line as of late. It's called Teenage from the brilliant, creative minds of Steak and Blake Anderson! (and yes, the Blake Anderson from Workaholics) I have been following Steak on her Tumblr/ Instagram/ Twitter for quite some time now and she was talking about starting Teenage. I liked her style a lot so I decided to check it out and oh boy, did I like the stuff they are putting out.

Here's a couple of shirts that I have bought:

(Again, I apologize for the horrible pictures, I'm still working on getting a camera)

Some exciting news from Teenage is that they will be added to select Zumiez stores so be sure to check your local Zumiez to see if they are going to carry Teenage! They will also be adding more women's clothing, too! You better buy fast, too because they do not restock so be sure to follow their social media so you can hop right to it!

Here's links to their accounts:

Twitter         Instagram

To all my lovely Minnesota readers, they will be at the Mall of America Zumiez's on June 28th (this weekend!!!) starting at 3 o'clock so be sure to be there!

And as always, it would be so wonderful if you all "liked" my facebook page and followed my Twitter and Instagram to keep up with me and to be in the know of when I make new posts!

June 2014 Birchbox Unboxing

(Please excuse my messy coffee table as this is the only place I have room to paint.)

Benefit Cosmetics They're Real! Mascara ($23)
Formula with all-day wear for lashes so long and thick, you may be accused of fakery.
I've already been in love with this mascara so I was really excited that I received this. It makes my eyelashes look even longer than they already are and so spread out and thick. I love this stuff so much! I've been planning to purchase this for a while now but I just haven't had time to do so.

Harvey Prince Singular Scentsations Imperial Gardenia ($29)
When it's as pure-yet-intoxicating as gardenia, sometimes a single scent is all you need.
I've been getting some awesome perfumes in my boxes. This stuff smells so good and floral and it lasts all day. It's so lovely! Maybe this will be another scent that I will buy in the future!

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser Starter Kit ($24.50)
British award-winner that uses a two-step ritual to gently purify all skin types.
This cleanser made my skin feel so clean as soon as I put this on my face. It felt so clean and smooth and I loved it so much. It also comes with a cloth that you use to polish off the cleanser and it was probably the reason why my skin felt so clean.

Nexxus Color Assure Pre-Wash Primer, Shampoo and Conditioner ($11.99- $17.99)
This oil-infused trio helps keep color vibrant for up to twice as long- without sulfates.
My hair isn't color treated anymore but I still decided to use this to try it out and let you all know how it is. The sample size was too small for the amount of hair that I have, but the parts of my hair that I used this product on was so soft. I didn't like the oil that much but the shampoo and conditioner smelled so lovely and made my hair so soft. I do with that the sample size was bigger but I do not see myself buying this in the future mostly because I don't color my hair anymore.

Perlier Body Cream- Shea Almond ($28.45)
From the Italian skincare brand, this nourishing cream rehydrates skin for a silky finish.
This lotion didn't feel greasy at all and it made my skin feel so nice. I do with the scent was a little stronger but besides that it was nice. I don't see myself buying this product in the future because I feel it's a little too pricy.

June 2014 Ipsy Unboxing

This month's Ipsy was titled "Pretty in Paradise." For the most part, I enjoyed this month's bag a lot. Don't forget to review your items to get Ipsy points!

NYX Butter Gloss
"Buttery soft and silky smooth, the scrumptious new NYX Butter Lip Gloss tastes as sweet as a sugar cookie—and makes your lips look downright luscious."
I'm already a huge fan of NYX as well as their butter glosses. I got this gloss in Crème Brulee and the color is so pretty!

Ofra Universal Eyebrow Pencil
"OFRA's Universal Eyebrow Pencil is a resistant pencil suitable for the most sensitive eye area. It is the perfect solution for your eyebrows and is called Universal Eyebrow Pencil for a reason as it is one color to suit all skin tones. It is soft enough and will make it easy for you to create a perfect shape."
The color that my pencil came in was brown and I feel like it blended really nicely with my natural eyebrow shape. It went on very nicely and I didn't even really have to use that much product. I'm real happy with it!

RealTree For Her
"Realtree for Her opens up with the sweet taste of pomegranate, a hint of persimmon and an exotic scent of orchids."
This is probably my new favorite perfume. I'm shocked that a camp pattern company could make such a nice smelling perfume. It pretty much lasted all day. I will definitely be purchasing this soon.

Marc Anthony Dream Waves Beach Spray
"Create natural, effortless, beach hair worn loose, soft and wavy. It adds body and texture to straight, fine strands or pumps up the curl in already wavy hair. Add extra definition to your wavy layers."
I have not tried this product yet, as I've been really lazy with my hair lately, but I do use beach spray sometimes. I'm excited to try it!

Be A Bombshell Last Out Mascara
"A rich pigmented mascara with a lengthening formula that offers a multidimensional look. "
I was not a huge fan of this mascara mainly because I feel like there wasn't a whole lot of product that is on the wand when you apply it. Also, the tube was made out of a matte finish that makes that really gross sound when you rub it the wrong way. I don't think I'll ever purchase this product.
